How It All Began
Hêvêra was born from a simple yet powerful belief: that education and innovation can transform lives, even in the most challenging circumstances. Founded in 2019 in Geraardsbergen, Belgium, our organization emerged from the recognition that many talented individuals affected by conflict, displacement, and poverty lack access to quality education and opportunities.
The name "Hêvêra" means "hope" in Kurdish, reflecting our commitment to bringing hope through education, technology, and community empowerment. Registered in Belgium (No. 2.377.348.254), HÊVÊRA operates under the umbrella of the MIXAA Group, a European innovation and development ecosystem that unites MIXAA (Technology & Digital Transformation), EUTD (European Institute for Training & Development), and HÊVÊRA (Humanitarian & Educational Development). Abdalghani Mushtaha is a European digital leader and innovation strategist with over 19 years of experience in technology, education, and social impact. He is the founder of MIXAA, leading initiatives in Industry 4.0, FinTech, and Blockchain innovation; the founder of the European Institute for Training & Development (EUTD), advancing professional training and capacity building; and the co-founder of HÊVÊRA, empowering minds through education and support for children and students in conflict-affected and underprivileged regions.
Mr. Yousef Salem
Deputy CEO & Co-Founder (HÊVÊRA)

Yousef Salem is a humanitarian and educational leader with over 13 years of global experience in community development and relief initiatives. Holding a Master's degree in Law from Istanbul, he has led numerous humanitarian projects worldwide. As Deputy CEO of MIXAA Group and Co-Founder of HÊVÊRA, Yousef leads global outreach programs focused on education, empowerment, and sustainable community transformation.
